The Disciple by Michael Hjort and Hans Rosenfeldt

The psychologist and expert profiler Sebastian Bergman is back. We got to know him in the debut novel “Dark Secrets” and I have been looking forward to the sequel ever since. Sebastian has even bigger problems in this novel. He is still struggling with his sex addiction and he is also secretly stalking his biological daughter (who does not know that he is her father).

Personal Motive

It also turns out that a serial killer is choosing his victims in a twisted way that is tied to Sebastian. You cannot be more self-centered than Sebastian and he is a very annoying person, but as a reader you cannot help but be fascinated by him.

The novel ends with a big cliffhanger, so we can without a doubt look forward to a third novel. I am definitely looking forward to it.
