I want to give away Edgar Allan Poes The Murders in the Rue Morgue from 1841. This is one of the first real criminal novels with a brilliant solution to the “locked room” Even today, 170 years later it still holds! I would give this to anyone who loves crime novels and want to learn more about the history of the crime novel.
