Last Christmas I read Murder as a Christmas Gift (Mord i julklapp), a collection of criminal short stories, and this year I read Murder under the Christmas Tree (Mord under julgranen). I am not very fond of short stories but decided to give the format another chance. However, despite the impressive list of authors, I think the stories are mediocre at best. I will probably stay away from short stories in the future since I usually become disappointed.
